Yep that's my plan 5 in 8 days is parkrun heaven :D
I have my eye on Old Deer Park for Christmas Day then Woking (keep saying I will re-visit and then something else always crops up!)on 26th Dec

My times have peaked out, only 33:14 at Bedfont today, too old, too overweight and a very old long term injury that impedes my stride pattern....
I am now consistently running 2 mins slower than 6 months ago............ I am struggling to get anywhere near 32 mins on flat courses and I am trying just a hard as ever...
Just enjoying the stats for different courses and total runs column now....
Kevin, have you ever considered not running for a bit? I note that you plan to do five over xmas/new year period. it might do wonders in healing your old injury, by resting for a few weeks, and then getting back into it. A combination of work/going away means that i can't run for 4 weeks end of December into January, but i'm thinking of it as healing time for a couple of niggles that I have, rest them, and then get back into training to get my times down again! Just my $0.02, for you if you want to get a sub-30!
Rest is the only way to fix running injuries add in some proper Sports Massage/Physio. I had to bite the bullet last year with my ankle but now running better and quicker than I was this time last year.

What a great day for my 100th at Bushy today :D

I took a full car of passengers, had a glass of champers with another runner in the 100 club, a special cake from Mei, a surprise visit from DrainBrain :D (thanks for coming up NIck 8) ) and the promised heavy rain didn't materialise!

We now await the scores of the doors!

My 50th completed at Penrose a very slippery last mile stopped me getting a course PB. But lots of fun had borrowed a GoPro to video the run so hope to get that uploaded later. Roll on the flat Tarmac in London next week.

Well done on the 50th Nozza, considering the lack of parkrun coverage in your neck of the woods until Penrose that is great going :P

I managed a Bushy course PB today by 1 second

I saw it was a course PB. Didn't realise it was that close!

Congrats to Nozza and GU on their milestones.

Not a bad run for me. Slowly improving my times after a month or so out of action. Bushy is a strange course. Almost no wind, and weird squishy green and brown stuff to run on for part of the course. :D

Oak hill is the destination for next week.

2.75 lapper 1 hill a total of 129ft elevation gain over the 5k. Might as well say it's flat.

Reigate was pretty tough in the Summer when I ran it last year, a very steep part in the woods on the hill...

No run for me today, due to work. No run next weekend due to going to Birmingham, but I will be able to do three of the four runs available to me over the Christmas and New Year weeks. Swings and roundabouts.

A dodgy stopwatch prevented anyone from getting a time, by the look of it ...

Hopefully they'll fix it at some point.
