I do believe that, for playing that move too early, you shall be placed in spoon for EVER!
Bwahahahahahaha!
Early moves may be permissible under Stovold Chapter 2.76 revision 3.45a, 26th Amendment (1996), but only if the date is correct from the time zone that they are posted from. And since the furthest we can get is, I think, 11 hours ahead (not quite sure exactly how the date line works - can you get to 12 hours ahead of GMT, heading east, before you end up in the previous day, or does progressing into the 12th zone take you back a day?), then you fail, mask-boy!

Angular momentum conservation allows the early play of Mornington Crescent when anticipating the Trellis anniversary. Look it up!

Remember folks, no one may play the winning move "Mornington Crescent" before this date, even if someone leaves it wide open will an ill-advised triple reverse pike with token exchange on a Thursday.
Anyone who plays MC BEFORE April the 15th will be banned from posting on the entire forum until that date (and I mean it - we will NOT tolerate people making a mockery of Mrs Trellis)
As my previous move was played on a Friday not a Thursday, I move that CrunchySaviour be banned from the forums until the 15th April-a severe yet justified penalty. His prolonged absence will remind us of the consequences of violating the will of Trellis.
As his move was illegal, any player may come in (having the requisite token distribution of course) at:

Seconded.

Happy Birthday Neil.

I do believe I'm now in a position to take this one, cashing in all of my tokens apart from the green one, and moving swiftly to:
MORNINGTON CRESCENT.
Ah, the sweet smell of victory.
The green token goes to Neil as a birthday present - happy birthday!

Sadly, you are all morons.
As the person whose birthday it is, only I can play the winning move, unless Mrs Trellis vetos such a move within 24 hours of my playing it.
But I'm not going to play it, so let the loop of confusion continue!

Time to make my play for victory:
Happy birthday for yesterday tubeguru, hope you had a good day.
As it is no longer your birthday, your Mornington monopoly has expired.
I'm going to invoke Rushton's Initialisation Gambit:
"Any player with the requisite ratio of green: white tokens who has successfully misplayed a Gambit of some description earlier in the game may subsequently play without penalty or impaired line velocity the station spelt out by the initial letters of a series of consecutive turns."
My deliberate mistake was right back in post 33 when I escaped the first Dollis Hill loop using Ritter's rule, by alphabetically playing Eastcote instead of East Acton. Still amazed I got away with it
Starting at post 676, my previous 18 plays have been:
Moorgate
Ongar
Roding Valley
Neasden Green
In between the station formerly known as prince albert and the circus formerly known as piccadilly.
Not crystal palace
Great sesame street
Triangle line
O-burn
Newbury bark
Canon's bark
Rodent valley
Elephant & cattle
Shadwell
Canary wharf
Epping
New earth
Theydon Bois
which spells out.....
MORNINGTON CRESCENT!!!
Let the arguing begin!

Dooooooh!!
Can anyone spot a flaw in that or has he only gone and done it?

That is some stealth play. I doff my hat to you, Ric. You have a mind sharper than Trellis and almost as shArp as the late NF Stovold.
Congratulations!

I challenge the first move of this game.
It was quite clearly invalid. We'll have to start again.

Thanks guys, I never won a game before, and I hope we've all done the memory of Trellis proud.
Don't think I can manage another one though....
