The alternative course at PV meant running the hill twice, and it was more or less two laps of the canal path and cycle trail/old railway line. I only managed 25:29, but finished in 24th, which is my best so far.
I like the sound of that. Hopefully up there in Jan.

Congrats to Geoff on 150 parkruns

301 runners successfully accounted for at MK this morning. One missing token.

A token error of some sort was responsible for me being promoted from 24th to 23rd yesterday. I'll take that. :)

Anyway, the spreadsheet is all updated. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... sp=sharing

Dudey is getting faster and faster all the time. Winter's supposed to be your SLOW period! Anyway, 21:01 is a time I can only dream of at the moment, but maybe one day.

At least I managed to bag second-fastest time of the day, although the alternative PV course is a bit if a killer as you have to run The Hill twice. I'd rather run through the mud and the puddles (lakes) if I'm honest. I might take a break from PV and go touring for a bit until it dries out.

Anyway, Geoff and scrxisi both managed course PBs, with Geoff getting 150 runs in. GU is one off the 100, and Nozza is one off 50.

Beer Baron is the latest addition to the table, and as it's his first run he gets to luxuriate in having a different colour to denote a PB (which is what it is, in effect). He should be thrashing GU by the spring.

Just a reminder that I will be at Bushy this coming Saturday for my 100th along with Beer Baron, Mei and Terry (who some of you know) and hopefully a couple of other work colleagues that do parkrun...
Anyone that can get along is most welcome :D

There wont be any post run celebration cakes as we have to dash straight off to get Ryan to work and Mei needs to be in town for midday....

Just to clear up the issue of Christmas Day and New Year's Day runs, and how they will affect your "streak" in the table ...

I've coupled the 25th and 26th of December together, and done the same with the 1st and 2nd of January. Essentially, this means that each pair of runs are part of the same week for the purposes of the table.

So if you run on Christmas Day (Friday) but NOT Boxing Day (Saturday), you will keep your streak for that week. Naturally, the reverse is true. The same applies to the other pair of dates. Of course, if you run all four you will be credited with four runs, as you would expect. I'm only clarifying what happens in the "streak" column. If you take part in neither pair of runs in a week you will lose your streak, the same as if you hadn't run on a normal Saturday. Hopefully that's all clear.

That's my decision, and no correspondence will be entered into, so don't bother suggesting an alternative. :)

That's good as I can't make it to a run Christmas Day (in fact I don't know where the nearest Christmas Day run is). But I will be at Penrose on Boxing Day as Mr Fox. I just hope the hunt isn't out and about.

Same here. PV aren't doing Xmas Day, but I can do Boxing Day at a run near the in-laws. :)

Yes, it's a bit barren. We have a NYD run though. :-)

Yes and it's a 10:01 Start so I can make it off the first train from Pz.

That all seems reasonable.

Some people are planning five runs I think. For NYD I've got my eye on Chichester at 9:00 and Bognor at 10:30. It's rare that I run beyond 5K, so I'm trying to decide if I can really run 3 x 5K within about 25 hours.
