It won't make the UK finish any higher, you know ...

I'll be surprised if it doesn't make us do worse!

Only seven countries gave vingt-quatre points to a song (i.e. the jury and the public agreed)

Azerbaijan and Belarus to Russia
Poland and San Marino to Ukraine
Russia to Armenia
Albania and Sweden to Australia

If we vote for Brexit next month, can we stop???
The question is worth repeating.

We can stop, but not because we left! We could stop anyway

Being a member of the EU has nothing to do with being a member of the EBU. So we will continue to be in Eurovision, and will come even nearer the bottom now, as Europe will shun us for leaving.

Non-EU countries in this year's Eurovision:

Albania (16th in SF2)
Armenia (7th)
Australia (2nd)
Azerbaijan (17th)
Belarus (12th in SF2)
Bosnia & Herzegovina (11th in SF1)
Georgia (20th)
Iceland (14th in SF1)
Israel (14th)
(FYR) Macedonia (11th in SF2)
Moldova (17th in SF1)
Norway (13th in SF2)
Russia (3rd)
San Marino (12th in SF1)
Serbia (18th)
Switzerland (18th in SF2)
Ukraine (1st)

The top three were all outside the EU... I think we'll be fine.

Ah, right. So we'll just keep being given no points because we bombed all those countries. Cool.

And also, none of those countries have EVER been in the EU, so they can't piss everyone off by leaving as we've done.

It will be much better when the UK breaks up, we can form our own little voting block with England, Scotland and Wales all giving each other big points.
Having said that I forgot that the Scots and Welsh hate the English, so maybe not..!
