OK, sheet updated, and here it is: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... sp=sharing

Dudey gets a one-second course best for Whitstable, and that's it for best times. Gadebridge appears to be something of killer, if the moaning is anything to go by.

I didn't run this week as I was recovering from a bad cold, and I didn't want to make it worse. Not much to report apart from that. Oh, I deleted the "volunteering" sheet, as it was proving a nightmare to update and check, given the information that is made available publicly. It wasn't all that important anyway, I don't think.

No PB for me today as I was running with one of the juniors but Matt Cook has absolutely smashed his PB taking it down to 26.24

Yes, today was the wettest I've ever seen Plymvalley. The meadow was waterlogged everywhere, with huge puddles and lakes everywhere along the route. The canal was overflowing, creating several fast-flowing rivers across the path we run along. I took a walk to the start area, walked about ten feet and went straight back to the car for my trail shoes! At the finish my feet were soaked, and I was covered in mud. I still did the run in my vest, as it wasn't really cold. :)

Despite all that I managed 24:59, which is the fastest of the day from the forum members. :)

Two PBs today, from Matthew Cook and jamesthegill, who pushes Sam down into last-but-one place. GU gets a PB of a different sort - his slowest ever time, but I'm sure he didn't want to show tractakid up. Am I to take it that Rushmere is a bit hilly, given your respective times?

Anyway, here it is: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... sp=sharing

This is where these PB's and stat pages can be misleading, it's the slowest time I have on all of the 48 courses I have visited but if you look further I did 37:08 at Lanhydrock the first time I ran there but only my best time shows on my main home page (34:50). I am not including my 38:08 at Bedfont Lakes (parkrun number 1 !!) as I missed the start
So looks like my 2nd slowest time ever then

It was Hilly but not as tough as Tring, Lanhydrock, Penrose. I would say equal to Alice Holt just a heck of a lot slower because of the mud, I could hardly pick me feet up on lap 2 and tripped and stumble twice on tree routes....

Oh BTW Crunchy Saviour was marshalling at Rushmere, we had a couple of brief "hello's" :)

Mud is starting to be a problem at Penrose last Km is very slippery I doubt I'll PB the course now until next year when the ground firms again.

Roll on next week and the mud of plym valley.
