Maybe being an internet version does funny things to it.
Do you use Chrome on a PC, or an App? i've seen it do weird things when using the Sheet App on my iPad. No worries.

Anyway, if it helps i can tell you than i am not doing any (shock!) parkrun tomorrow. But I will be back at Gunnersbury next week.
I'm using Chrome on my PC laptop. My old laptop had Office on it, so I could use Excel easily. But I don't have it on here, and I'm not buying it, so I use Google Sheets to do it. Plus doing it that way makes it easy to share the URL for people to see it.

I can't enter your details into the spreadsheet if you don't use your barcode to record a time on the official system. It's hardly Nazi Germany.

And yes, I am well aware that it was I who invoked Godwin's Law myself there ...

Bit muddy at Plymvalley today, and my first Parkrun in the rain. I only did 23:59, but they may have me down as officially 24:00 dead.

Bit breezy on Hove prom today, disappointed with my 32:03. Looking forward to doing it in costume next week though for Hallowe'en!

A perfect parkrun day at Bedfont weather wise, overcast & mild with no wind...
All a struggle for me though, not been able to train for over 4 weeks now due niggle that I can only feel when I break into jogging stride so my time of 32:48 was the slowest at my home venue since January...
Feel I may have peaked out time wise so sub 30 on any course and sub 31 at Bedfont may never happen....

OK, the spreadsheet is now updated. Lots of new runs for people this week. Andi finally remembered his barcode, so gets on the table. He was running with The Raven by the look of it, as they finished one second apart.

A four-second PB for dudey was the only improvement this week, and Nozza was the only volunteer. The link's up there somewhere ^^^^^^^

Kevin, i am routing for you to get a sub-30! How about going back to Burgess at somepoint? You know it's flat and the fastest in London. Get someone to pace you! I'll do it the new year with you if you like ...
Sounds like you need to see a sports physio and get the niggle sorted.

Interesting, seeing as, according to the Burgess team, the Dulwich team consider themselves to have a faster course!

Geoff, Damo thanks for the advice / pacing offer....

The injury(s) TBH are more than one and are the consequence of playing competitive sport for too long....
Almost 1000 games in goal still playing in my 40's and tennis for at least 12 hours a week up until around 2 years ago
So they are very deep routed so really it's just a case of managing them as best I can.....
Just straight line non contact exercise now, running & cycling.....

I give some data on glen lap times as it was four laps.

1.25 km 7m 10s
2.5 km 15m 15s
3.75km 24m 3s
5 km 33m 11s

Glen felt very annoyed that he was not closer to 30mins I explained that the four stops to walking pace of around 30sec each
Which led to the slowish time. Seeing as I didn't really know the course I thought why not stay with him and help his pacing legs are fine its the breathing and getting oxygen in.
