not really whilst we are on the subject i have put you down as number 30 on my list provisionally that i am working on to be revealed when i have finished.

it will take into the fact these criteria

Radio appearances
Media or newspaper cuttings
the amount of different challenges done ie r15 mouse snake alphabet zone 1
tv appearances
records held gwr will be held in highest regard but other records will be used

it probably take me some time im doing it for fun as im also writing up my entire challenge history for wordpress.

What circumstances do you insinuate? Are the exceptional/extra details to which the rest of us haven't been made party to?!

Well unless Marc Gawley actually talks about it we can all speculate as to where he started where he finished

im going for a t4 start and watford finish.

My t4 - watford route did come out at precisely 16h 29m but i dont think anybody would try it apart from me.But i think Marc is being very smart keeping silent and it his right to do!After i have typed up my challenges into wordpress i might actually type out my logbook from my 1st record.

Marc states that he is a computer skilled person so you can bet that he had a very good route to his skills set.

So if you have a route that quick then why haven't you been out on it?

I did actually attempt that route but with Kensington Olympia train being defunct and no trains going up there made it a little pointless.

I bet you marc had a similar sort of plan be unconventional throw in a few twists here and there but its all hypothetical!

The faster the record time, the faster GWR process it.

I call it the Palkanetoijala Principle.

You could have Olympia run just at the weekend - then you'd need a Saturday with no engineering works and for Guinness to relent on their ancient 'not Saturdays' rule to even make an attempt! Not sure what would happen first...

There will still be a proper weekday service during major exhibitions at Olympia. I have no idea whether that is likely to be 5 days a year, or 50 days a year.

There will be a weekday service but I don't think the term proper is appropriate.

Having read some of the FOI documents re this change, the services to Olympia will be at the expense of diverting a train from the Wimbledon branch.

Not entirely sure that I follow moley - given that the frequency of the Wimbledon branch will be increased, what kind of regularity/frequency of Olympia service on exhibition days is there likely to be from what you understand of the FOI documents that you've seen?

Had this forum never been created you would probably all never have met each other, and no one would have much of an idea who any of the people who set the records were, or what their routes were. That's all we know for certain.
