We had a record 453 runners at Southsea. Sandi Toksvig, chancellor of University of Portsmouth, was promoting fitness at the uni and a whole host of people from the uni joined in, all wearing purple shirts. It may be a while before that number is beaten.

Next week is Southsea's 2nd anniversary.
The week after that, maybe Hove...

Yes, I just checked everyone on the list, and he IS the only person to have done it. Corrected.

I think that as Tractakid has done better than Going Underground as great hasn't even repeated a course within the streak.

Enjoy Barking Geoff - it's not a bad little course - two laps and pretty flat, it does have a very annoying tight hairpin though which does slow you down costing a few seconds! Would join you for it but am away this weekend.

I won't be running this weekend, as my leg will be in pain, but I am going to volunteer for the first time. I get 100 points for that.

I did wonder if you would be there! Right. So now not only do I have to find the flattest course, but the ones
without hairpin bends! i never really thought of how they could slow you down before... In London, that might just be Dulwicf (flat, tarmac, no severe bends, 3 laps in an anti-clockwise circle), to which I believe the 21st Nov has been touted as forum-day-out ...
I've not been to Dulwich but Pymmes is pretty close. just one speedbump height bump on each lap... certainly a fast course anyway.

Yeah sorry did we say 21st when we did Beckton? If so our apologies we should have double checked here and that's a real shame
Unless they can re-route to Dulwich it's not far away?
