LOL what happened to the home run then

He wants to pull away from you.

Exactly my thoughts, I think he changed his plans when I mentioned I was Basingstoke bound at the R15 last week

Sneaky bugger.

I found at midweek there was a Cowell celebration/gathering going on at Luton, so caught the 99 bus there. There was lemon drizzle cake!

Simon Cowell was at Luton parkrun?

Nope, a 'Cowell' is named after Chris Cowell, the first parkrunner to run at 100 different parkrun venues.

Cracking time Nozza. I got a new age-graded PB, though not an absolute time PB.
Burgess is hilly by my standards.

It was nice to run a flat course and well done yourself for the age graded PB.

OK, the spreadsheet is updated. No run for me yesterday - the car's out of action, and I had no other way of getting there and back in the time available to me.
It looks like another forum day out, this time at Burgess. The only PBs were a time PB for Nozza (a big improvement), and an age-grading PB for DrainBrain. Hove Promenade comes off the list of Parkruns that only one person has done, as Geoff was down there.
I think everything is correct in the tables. I'm sure someone will notice if I missed something off.

Hove Promenade has more turnarounds though

Is the route more or less defined by the confines of the promenade then?

Not sure I understand the concept of "flatter than Southsea".
Faster than Southsea is something I get though. Basically, that's anywhere without strong winds.
I will almost certainly be there on 5th December.

Right then. Another weekend done, and a weekend of new courses for almost everyone. It would have been a new one for me too as I was up in London for the tattoo convention, but I didn't have enough time in my schedule to fit Southwark in before we needed to be there. I'll be back next weekend, and the start of a new "year" for Plymvalley - it was the third birthday run yesterday. I somehow managed to come 43rd in the points list for the nine months of this year that I've run so far. I'm aiming for the top 25 next year.
No PBs this week of any description, but three courses have come off the "list of runs done by one person" - Aldenham, Ashford, and Roundshaw Downs. Scrxisi is fast losing all his unique run courses.
Anyway, here it is:
