All the countries that this country shared a border with in 1990 no longer exist. Which country?
1990 is the clue, and the country is POLAND.
Neighbours in 1990 were:
East Germany - reunified back into Germany
Czechoslovakia - Divided into Czechia and Slovakia
USSR - Now Ukraine, Belarus, Lithuania and Russia (Kaliningrad)

Here's a question I've seen in another place - I don't know the answer (or even if there is only one answer) and I don't know how you would research it either...
Name a song that has been a track on the albums at number 1 and number 2 in the UK album chart of a week.
If you have any candidates, I should be able to confirm if they are correct.
I've found another, which is also pretty random.
In August 1985, when "Now That's What I Call Music 5" entered the charts at number one, it prevented "Like A Virgin" by Madonna reaching number one. After five weeks, they swapped places.
Now 5 included Jimmy Nail's version of "Love Don't Live Here Anymore", which Madonna also covered on "Like A Virgin".

28 March 1998, when Celine Dion's album "Let's Talk About Love" climbed back to number 1, the soundtrack of "Titanic" was number 2 - they both included "My Heart Will Go On".

Apparently the RAC aren't sure how they acquired the trophy, which has been presented to the winner of the British Grand Prix since 1973. It may have been donated by founder of Rolls Royce and old Etonian Charles Rolls.

No takers, so I'll give the answer. I have a new question to pose!
The answer is that in each pairing, the first person officiated at the wedding of the second person.

Between August 1963, with "(You're the) Devil in Disguise)" by Elvis Presley, and November 1964, with "Baby Love" by the Supremes, only one American had a UK number one single, and they had two. Who was it?
