Oh yeah Ollie, I got the drift on what Antony was saying.....

I was just hoping that tc wasn't pulling out because of our pressure on him to change the time etc..

Well it's mainly because of an issue me and my mum have currently ... I don't think I'll be able to make it... oh well, there's always another time!

That's a real shame - however, I'm pretty certain we'll be doing this again next year :).

So now that that's cleared up, are we definitely going to meet at 12 noon, Oxford Circus, same as last time? I'm happy to prepare and/or the starting stations as long as someone provides a hat!

If I am there Ollie you are welcome to use my baseball cap

I actually have an Excel spreadsheet which generated a station at random...

How about starting from Bayswater ;)

I think it's better to do it publicly.

I can confirm I will be there next week. I have printed out a list of all the starting stations (twice, so someone can double-check they're all there), and will invite a guest at random to do the starting draw.

Unfortunately I can't help in the rest of the organisational side - I won't be online again after this evening until after the event. I will be at Oxford Circus at noon unless I hear otherwise - Pete, can you contact me if anything is different to that?

Cheers, hope to see lots of you there.

Ollie

It turns up that I may be able to make it now (OC at 1200), if someone could SMS me the starting station I may be able to make it. Who do I need to send it to?!

Good luck to everyone on the un-official Z1 challenge. I hope that all lines are open and running well for you all. Going Underground has planned a couple of very cunning routes and could possibly go sub 3 hours. Have a fun day, such a shame I can't join you all

I'll be there, almost certainly with Chelle, who is reluctantly being dragged along on her first Tube Challenge. I have to get a Way Out Map beforehand - unless anyone has one spare to sell me...

Love the team names! The Fat Buoy award for best team names goes to Ollie and Ric, who both win the joint first prize. The rest of you leave with nothing, weakest link styleeeeeeeeeee :D

And Zone 1+2 day - bring it on!

Also, would anyone be interested in a zip file containing all of the spider maps downloaded from the TfL website for your perusal? It's about 80 Meg - I should be able to upload it using technology such as a computer. Ok, it's all freely available online, but I thought an offline resource would be dead handy. Ok, most of the common bus connections are fairly well known, but IMHO it's worth having just in case there's something that might not have been all that obvious, and in the case of newer challenges, like the Z1/2, it could be useful.

Pester me to upload it if you wants it (clart).
