I'll second the above as it really does influence if I can make it! If I can make it, I'd like to get on and book some coaches, or better still some dirt cheap last minute train tickets. While the latter are more unlikely, I accept, it does still make a difference. Thanks in anticipation.

Re: Random 15 Championship - Round 3 - 28th November
Apologies for the hold up, but my printer was out of ink last night, so I'm having another crack tonight. As soon as I have the starting station I will let you all know.
I would say that the starting time should be between 1200 and 1300, I will confirm once the starting station is known. I guess everyone prefers an earlier start in order to try and complete during daylight?
The pub afterwards will be the Rising Sun, as posted by greatkingrat.

Re: Random 15 Championship - Round 3 - 28th November
Well personally I'd prefer it if I could leave home in the daylight, however I do accept that I'm a minority (and perhaps a minority of one) when it comes to this actually being a deciding factor which influences us! I also accept that if the start time is delayed especially for me, I see less of all you lovely people in the pub afterwards. Therefore I'm going the whole hog in saying that if I get the coach I should arrive at Golder Green 0940, so we can start any time after then for me!

Re: Random 15 Championship - Round 3 - 28th November
I'd prefer both a late and early start time based on starting station.
a) to maximise my chances of getting there from a possible late-finishing quarter peal possibly at Walworth,
b) to maximise pub time before heading back to South Ken to change into a dinner suit before making my way back to East London for a dinner...

Re: Random 15 Championship - Round 3 - 28th November
Okay the starting station is Clapham Common for me this is very easy coming up from the South Coast and I can avoid the usual weekend mayhem at Victoria, so I would be happy with a 12:00 start, but I'm open to a bit of debate over the start time.
One day I shall return!

Nice local starting station but probably going to just go to the darts in the evening to save my legs

If you are not working then you have no excuse. Besides it will be good practice for your solo Full Network attempt.Sam wrote:Nice local starting station but probably going to just go to the darts in the evening to save my legs

Sadly, I won't be in attendance this time around. I've only just been to London.
I rear-cabbed a Class 395!!

Nope, they've built a temporary crossing using the old marshalling yard at Feltham.Going Underground wrote:Clapham Common absolute piece of cake from Feltham..... BUT does anyone know if there will still be replacement buses on SWT due to the collpased bridge the other week
