Yes indeed, we used the pub after the Cannon Street Run. It proved popular so we are back again. http://www.fancyapint.com/pubs/pub176.html the closest station is Barbican
Could I make a suggestion, in the interests of a punctual (i.e. 1230) start? Anyone who arrives after this time who is participating not only suffers a time penalty, but also has to get the beers in at the pub! I think this would be a suitable deterrent
Held some Alternative Challenge records for a long time.
Doesn't any more.

I can bring some sticky tape and if anyone is late I will stick an envelope for them on the entrance to Aldwych Station. If we all start our watches promptly at 12:30, the same will apply for anyone who hasn't made the start on time. A similar thing happened at Earls Court R15 when I couldn't make the start, I started about 20 minutes after everyone else and still came 3rd I think.

You never know Sam after my Random 20 attempt a few weeks ago

A very well attended event and a "kind" set of stations considering the closures....
Sorry to hear about Adam's slight misunderstaning of the format for visiting the stations and it's a shame we only really got to say "hello" and the pub proved tricky to find
I hope it hasn't but you off and hope you can get along next time...........
However your little "glitch" has given the BERC and others and idea... As you know we like to throw a "twist" into these R15's so we are maybe thinking about having a round where you DO have to visit them in strict order, possibly on the basis of a rally start...
I would certainly vote in favor of this

Well, it was great to say "hello" but it would have been even better to say "goodbye" as well #laughs#
And shouldn't we get bonus points for coming last by milles!!
ah well, hopefully I'll use my joker next time as long as the lost running around Paddington doesn't mess our time by more than 10 minutes... so next round is somewhere around december?
