Yes indeed, welcome back Jack. It's your first post for 6 months. You're more than welcome to join us for the R15 on Saturday, the more the merrier. After the challenge we are all meeting at
The Horse & Groom for beer and darts, and of course to compare times.

13 competitors & 7 teams, the official result was as follows:
1. 3:01:24 Martin Hazel (finished at Latimer Road)
2. 3:07:36 Antony, Jamie & Phil Brown (Clapham South)
3. 3:17:40 Peter Smyth (Leicester Square)
4. 3:24:51 Kevin & Ryan Brown (Whitechapel)
5. 3:27:15 John & Zoey Mitchell (Clapham South)
6. 3:31:45 Jack Bynoe, Matt Nunn & Matt Scrivin (Royal Oak)
7. 4:02:19 Alastair Brown (Latimer Road)
The 15 stations to be visited were:
Bermondsey
Cannon Street
Clapham Shouth
Fulham Broadway
Kennington
Latimer Road
Leicester Square
Mornington Cres.
Old Street
Royal Oak
South Kensington
Southwark
St James Park
Victoria
Whitechapel
Our route was very simple,
We started westbound on the Circle Line to knock off St James Park, Victoria & South Kensington. A Wimbledon train was just a couple of minutes behind which allowed us to visit Fulham Broadway. We had a six minute wait for a train back up Earls Court but opted instead to go outside for a bus. This was our only error of the day as the 295 bus we caught took us almost 20 minutes to get to Hammersmith. We took the H & C as far as Edgware Road, passing through Latimer Road & Royal Oak on the way. A quick run to the Bakerloo Line and less than 1 minute wait for a southbound service to Waterloo. We ran to the Jubilee eastbound passing Kevin & Ryan running the opposite way. We passed through Southwark and then had a nice 1 minute cross platform at Bermondsey. All change at London Brridge for South Eastern to Cannon Street for the 2nd time. We sprinted downstairs and straight onto an eastbound District line, very sexy change. We took this as far as Mile End passing through Whitechapel. At Mile End another sexy change straight onto a Central Line westbound to change at Bank for the Northern Line northbound within 1 minute. We took the Northern line to Camden Town which knocked off Old Street and then caught a southbound Charing X branch within 1 minute. A good change at Kennington and we proceeded to our final station without any problems.

Well the initial plan was to go East and knock Whitechapel off, for some reason we kind of ambled down to the platform and missed a train we could easily have caught.
It said Barking 1 min by which time a few other teams were down on the platform.. Well more that 1 minute passed and nothing in sight so we dashed around to the Westbound platform to immediately get a Wimbeldon train...
Down to Fulham Broadway knocking off St James, Vic & S. Ken.
A 5 minute wait for a double back to West Brompton, then 2 mins for Brighton service to Clapham Junction then another 2 mins for a Caterham terminator to Balham...
Northern line up to London Bridge, having to change at Kennington....
Very sexy Jubilee out to Bermondsey and the same again doubing back to Waterloo, where as mentioned we passed the other Brown team all cheering as we dashed by....
Waterloo was rather annoying as the Northern line wasn't stopping so we got a Bakerloo to Embankment and got the Northern from there to Leics Sq...
Change onto Central at T.C.R. and then the nice little run from White City to Shepherd's Bush as I don't think it is possible or easy to run to Latimer Road

(Be good news when Wood Lane is open

)...
A rather irritating 7 minute wait for an H & C. then we knocked off the stations on this line and then had to change onto the Circle at Edgware Road where we met Greatkingrat who also had 3 stations left, 2 the same as us but Leics Sq instead of Whitechapel.
We got out at Euston Sq and ran to Euston to go through Mornington Crescent, the double back at Camden Town was annoying as the first 3 trains leaving from either Southbound platform were all Charing X branch and we needed Bank branch to visit Old Street...
We then changed back onto the Circle at Moorgate, then the Aldgate - Aldgate East run.. (They now have pedestrian crossing lights to get across the road where the subway is, not that we waited for them to change to green)..
Annoyingly just missed an Eastbound district, passing people coming up the stairs and then had to wait another 5 mins for one before finishing at Whitechapel....
