That seems a bit of a strange reason after just 12:44!
Not really, this was the infamous Friday 13th attempt that lost over 45mins at Moor Park and we were way behind the clock at Baker Street...

We were changing from Jubilee to Circle it was very busy and I went the "correct" way up the stairs and couldn't get past a crowd of people. When I got to the top it transpired someone had collapsed and Soupie and The Dr had got ahead of me so I missed the connection...

It was already game over by that stage anyway...
Friday the 13th was not the best day to do a challenge. Our attempt was probably over after just 6 stations given the extermely long wait at Moor Park. However we decided to push on in the hope that we might get back on track! Phillip did his knee and battled on for a few hours, Kevin continued until we got split up at Baker Street and then rejoined us at Whitechapel for support. Myself & Jamie pushed on until Mill Hill East and a quick calculation made it clear that we could not set a PB and more than likely not make Heathrow T4 in time.
One day I shall return!

Better routes?

It would be interesting to see how whether times have generally decreased over the last 5 years or so, and whether this is down to system improvements. Not that long ago 19.5 hours was a respectable time, but not any more
I would also suggest that route planning has improved over the years.

Trusty old map, pen and paper

By the way I can confirm that Hakan had a very good run for his money yesterday..... A GWR attempt was bang on schedule when the district line decided to go "tits up" With around 40 mins being lost at Ealing Broadway and Turnham Green very late in the play.........

Hi guys,

Just to let you know that I have now added a page to the website with only about 8 or 9 times on it. I'm not quite sure where to look for times for all stations attempts. If you have a time to put up, please do send it, or if you know of any other people's times which i have included.

Post them below, PM me or email me (jonnylyon @ gmail . com).

Thanks again,

Jonny

I have just had an email from someone who made an attempt at 274 before GWR stated that Shoreditch had to be visited.

He has requested that a separate table be included for those not visiting Shoreditch, so Ive decided to do this.

If you have any non-shoreditch times (possibly people who did tuberelief or CiN might fit into that category) email them through and tell me that.

Cheers
