Frankly, I do not care if any of you are racist, Nazis, Liberals or Church of England Fundamentalists. But what does both me about both Dr Chris and Sam is that they are boring. And there is no excuse for that whatsoever.
Ahhhhr!

He's right.
Give it a rest, or you'll be taking a rest from the forum for a while ...

Fine, I won't post here anymore, simple.
Just one point, I was not being racist no matter what any of you think

I can assure you, I didn't think it for one second.

Total overreaction!
Does it look like we're bickering? Friendly jibes. Nothing more.

Can we please cease this line of conversation?
I'm sick of it. You two - bicker in private. Stop responding to everyone's reaction and it will go away.
I have received FOUR complaints from people about this subject now and it has to stop. Please. For the love of God.
I have been tolerant long enough. Any more of this pointless arguing and I will ban you. And please don't gripe about that decision - it's in your hands.
Talk about clouds or something.

Sam do you mean that you won't be posting in this particular topic anymore of the forum in general?
Just to say I believe that your comments were misinterpreted....

Right, first of all I would like to apologise to everyone on here, maybe
my posts were out of order, but I didn't feel they were and have been misinterpreted. Last night, I logged on to read this thread and saw I was being threatened with being banned and also had an abusive PM from a member of this forum so to be frank I just though f**k it, I won't bother posting, that way I can't cause any more trouble but having thought about it, i've decided that I shall contribute to the forum but only with what I feel is relevant.
Just one final thing, thanks for the PM Starkey, it made me feel a bit better!

(Oh, it wasn't him with the abusive one by the way

)

The person who wrote the abusive PMs has been spoken to by me.
Hopefully it will now stop.
Now, how about we return to the subject of whether January is a good month for tube challenges?

by dr_chris
Yes it is - although it's a Yorkie month to do it...

I reckon that it has two advantages and three disadvantages.
In January you'll hardly get hot and sweaty at all.
In January there are far fewer tourists* to get in your way.
In January there's likely to be ice on the roads which slows one's running.
In January it gets dark at about 4pm, and thereafter it's quite depressing.
In January it's flipping cold when you're standing and waiting around for trains.
*Nevertheless, I'm sure that we all love circumnavigating these people, who dither at the bottom of stairs and just outside ticket barriers, because as somebody rightly said, there's nothing we like better than a challenge.
