Right, first of all I would like to apologise to everyone on here, maybe
my posts were out of order, but I didn't feel they were and have been misinterpreted. Last night, I logged on to read this thread and saw I was being threatened with being banned and also had an abusive PM from a member of this forum so to be frank I just though f**k it, I won't bother posting, that way I can't cause any more trouble but having thought about it, i've decided that I shall contribute to the forum but only with what I feel is relevant.
Just one final thing, thanks for the PM Starkey, it made me feel a bit better! (Oh, it wasn't him with the abusive one by the way )

I reckon that it has two advantages and three disadvantages.

In January you'll hardly get hot and sweaty at all.
In January there are far fewer tourists* to get in your way.

In January there's likely to be ice on the roads which slows one's running.
In January it gets dark at about 4pm, and thereafter it's quite depressing.
In January it's flipping cold when you're standing and waiting around for trains.

*Nevertheless, I'm sure that we all love circumnavigating these people, who dither at the bottom of stairs and just outside ticket barriers, because as somebody rightly said, there's nothing we like better than a challenge.
