I think the rules are fine as they are, certainly more exiting not to have any restrictions in place.........

we only started west from sloane square because going east was the obvious thing to do, and it would have been really similar to last year.
it was a shame about the start station, but a Z1 race is still a Z1 race wherever it goes from, and i think it would be too artificial to add restrictions like suggested above.

Although I'm new to this lark I agree that we should keep things as they are. The random factor and the luck of the draw are all part of the fun. Although our team (Team Needing Tardis) had a copy of Hakan's route from last year we stuck to a pre-planned circular route that we could do by going either east or west, strangely enough the starting point on my circular route was Sloane Square! Sadly we picked eastbound which stuffed us up as the last connection was Vauxhall to Pimlico.
