I might decide for once to do the random 15 round if daz wants to do it depends on how my leg holds up in a parkrun.

That's precisely why I don't do the Parkrun before the event. Last thing I want to do is injure myself in the Parkrun and not be able to do the R15!

What's your excuse for every other week?

You can always take the R15 a bit easy...
Also I find it's not so much the risk of injury at parkrun but the fact we then have 2 1/2 hours between this and the R15 where the muscles cool down... A bit like a full network really where it can be very difficult not to stiffen up...

That's true I could run around at the back if it's raining I won't be gunning it anyway

Warm up properly before and stretch after you are unlikely to injure yourself.

On reflection, "injure myself" wasn't quite what I meant. Perhaps what I should have said is "use all my stamina up"....

If you see anyone clutching fistfuls of tube maps this Saturday, it could be a tube challenger, or it could be a rock star

For the benefit of anyone reading the thread who wants to have a go at a route, the stations came out as:
Regent's Park
Goodge Street
Maida Vale
Clapham Junction
St. James's Park
Bank
Rotherhithe
Knightsbridge
Gospel Oak
Royal Oak
North Acton
Canada Water
Kentish Town West
Ravenscourt Park
We started in the lift at Essex Road at 1228; the first trains out were the 1230 (Moorgate), 1254 (Welwyn?) and 1300 (Moorgate) because Great Northern cancelled a few.

They were a very interesting set of stations and caused drama-a-plenty
