So the problem is that it should be very swift in theory, but delays mean that it ends up being very slow? If that's the case, they could adjust the timetable by making it a bit less sexy, allowing more scope for delays, and more swift changes overall. Or am I barking up the wrong tree?

I see what you are saying but I don't usually have that much of an issue with Uxbridge, yesterday was just unfortunate I think!

I've
never been fortunate at Uxbridge. Even on my reconnaissance trips nothing worked as planned.
