A bit of a cock-up by the BERC...!
I just asked mum to check the list to see if Paddington (CIR/DIS/H&C) had been included.
She told me that there are NO Paddington's, so to make itfare fair for everyone involved you can rest assured that Paddington won't come out!

Re: Random 15 Championship 11/12 - Round 1 - 23rd July
Yes we will meet by this area as suggested by Tangy. Can everyone aim to be there at 12:15 so we can go for a prompt 12:30 start.tangy wrote:Last time we did a challenge from Bridge we met up by the cash machines next to the main entrance to the NR concourse in the bus station. This area is still there despite the closure of the bus station during the Shard construction works.
Just so the rules are clear for any newbies, the main ones are as follows.
1. You must always depart from the first station by tube (e.g. departing by run, or bus is not allowed)
2. The remaining 14 stations can be visited in any order, as long as they are visited by tube, or by trains sharing tube lines.
3. A visit counts as an arrival or departure by tube (or train sharing tube lines).
3a. if your arrive at you final station on foot or by bus you must depart by tube, your watch is not stopped until doors open at the next station.
4. All stations are within zones 1 & 2, however, you are free to venture outside zone 2 if you wish.
5. As with standard Guinness rules you can use any form of public transport. You cannot use Taxis, Private Cars, Bicycles etc.
6. If you wish to abort make a note of how many station visited and in what time, e.g. 13 stations in 4:20:00
6a. Points could still be awarded even if you aborted, this will depend on the number of competitors.
Anything else that I've missed? I will recap the rules on Saturday.
One day I shall return!
