I'm getting good at this guessing game.

Re: 2011 Formula One Predictions
Just thought I'd draw your attention to this piece of bullshit, which slightly affects the scores:

Ohferfucksake. Why can't they just leave the results alone for once? Luckily, it doesn't affect the standings for the round or overall, so I've decided not to bother with a separate version of the spreadsheet; I've just updated the existing one.

Re: 2011 Formula One Predictions
Is it me, or has my lead grown massively with that alteration?

It has actually grown considerably, because while everyone lost a few points on Lewis Hamilton, you gained a lot on Kamui Kobayashi.

At least one Sauber has had its finishing position changed after every race so far this year.

Re: 2011 Formula One Predictions
I know it's come around very quickly, but today really is the deadline for this weekend's Chinese GP! So far only three people have entered.
Try to get your entries in by midnight, but if you're struggling, I'll continue to accept them until the start of first practice at 03:00 tomorrow morning. And don't worry if you don't make it in time, because your picks from the last round will carry over once.

Qualifying has messed up some of my predictions a little. Get moving Webber!

Re: 2011 Formula One Predictions
For the first time this season, a driver other than Sebastian Vettel won a Grand Prix. And for the first time this season, a player other than tubeguru came first in the predictions game.
In fact, it's very bad news indeed for the guru, as he finished in last place with 124 points. Big congratulations to sam, who finished first with a whopping 170 points - equaling the best score from the whole tubechallenge group last season (scored by scrxisi in Turkey). Each of her top five predictions were exactly one place away from the actual race results. The full scores and standings can be found here.
I really enjoyed the race this morning. I can't remember the last time there was an on-track scrap for the lead - usually it just changes hands during the pit-stops. For me, that's one of the primary requirements for an exciting race. And I'm sure everyone - except maybe sam - will agree with me here - thank god someone other than Vettel won!
There's a three-week break before the next race now, so I won't be publishing the next entry form just yet. Expect to see it next weekend.

Well, I've still got a lead, but this shocking state of affairs can't be allowed to continue!
That Di Resta's not bad is he?

Re: 2011 Formula One Predictions
I was happy with the result to be honest. It was a really exciting race and 2nd is still a good result for Seb.
It is nice to see someone else on the podium as well and Lewis and Webber had fanastic races
