Arrrrgh! That's a new record!
Time to update my signature.
Well done, that is some luck that I only wish I could have had on my 5th attempt... I reckon such a time is possible on my route, due to the absurd wait for the Hammersmith train.
You don't really need evicende, as such, for these alternative challenges as they're not official or anything.
Well done!
PS. You do need to do both Bank and Monument, as they are two separate stations that just happen to be connected by a walkway. You also have to do both the Hammersmith and Bakerloo/D&C Paddingtons, and both the Bakerloo/D&C and Hammersmith Edgware Roads.

Sorry 'bout the signature mate
I think that almost 10 minutes was saved on the hammersmith + city line on my second run, due to:
1)getting the better train beforehand (5mins saved)
2)having a shorter wait for the train itself (5 mins)

THAT's what he's been doing!!
In other news... there may be a Full Challenge record attempt on the cards by me and an as-yet-unnamed-but-well-known member of the Tube Challenge community......

"Only if a station is temporarily closed (e.g. for rebuilding, or in an emergency), or if it closes earlier or opens later than normal as a result of rebuilding work, will a non-stop pass through a station be acceptable."
The attempt may well still be valid, although it would of course take longer if a planned interchange station is closed by the time we get there. There's always buses! :S

I've come up with a route for a complete challenge, which deals with:
1)Shoreditch not always being open.
2) Cannon St. closing early.
3)wembley park being out of action northbound.
But what are the problems with these other stations? I hadn't heard that they were only partly open.
And then there's always terminal 4.......
I've tried some of the central bits, which seem to work ok. Although I'm more bothered about getting round than getting a great time at the end of the day(and it will be

)

I also have a plan in mind to use, T4 isn't that much of a deal though and unless your plan involves a run at Queensbury that doesn't matter either.

T4 may be a problem in your route but in mine it isn't really, getting the names every hour is a bit crap though

For Guinness proof, it is actually necessary to note the vehicle identification number (VIN) of the Terminal 4 bus. This number is etched into the chassis just forward of the rear differential housing. It can also be found in the owner's manual, page 73.
In the event of the bus being stolen and hence having a ground-off VIN, the number plate and driver's mother's maiden name will suffice.

Hi,
I'm vaguely planning on joining you on the day for the Challenge (subject to boss approving time off etc), and was wondering what was going to be done about Queensway -- will we have to pass through it, or will it be considered not to exist or what?
(I'm currently planning a recce trip down to London to perfect my routes)

Right. I've got the 20th off, so I'll definitely be joining people (calamities willing). I've also booked the 5th off for a recce day and test run -- I'm not sure how it being election day will modify my timings...!

Correct me if i am wrong (and i probably am) but according to
http://www.tfl.gov.uk/tube/travelinfo/planned.asp the queensway closure is only from 8th -> 9th May
