I think I'll also be arriving nearer to 12:00 than 11:30.

Looks like I'll be coming to this now. After a year off I thought I might as well. Taking advantage of the rather odd seeming megabusplus system from York to London...

Hi all,

Tangy should be logging on to this forum again on Thursday evening, when he gets home, so he'll be able to catch up on messages then. However, if there's any problem, I'll make sure that he's updated in time for Friday; as he mentioned in an earlier posting, he's asked me just to keep an eye on Z1 Challenge things whilst he's away on his holiday.

Roger.

Will we have the opportunity to drop our stuff off at the Horse & Groom before the challenge or is no-one going there first?

Depending on how quickly I get out of my workshop with work, I might be able to come and meet you and get your bag if that is any help to you.

The H & G are normallly most accomodating but not sure if they open before 12 noon?

It might require someone to forego the challenge and instead spend the afternoon supping sweet, fruity, cold cider. I'm tempted

I suppose I just about have time to wish good luck to all the teams - surely none have finished yet! Sorry I can't be there. One of these years...

Indeed Ollie, good luck to all those who took part in the Z1 today, sorry that I couldn't be there through work commitments.

Well I enjoyed that - my first ever challenge! The route was designed by my 8 year old son, so had a few overlaps, but not bad for a first attempt.

Thanks to Tangy for organising the day.

A big thank you to Tangy and Roger for a superbly organised and enjoyable Z1 :P :D

I will get round to a write up at some stage, right now heading into town for more sweat & toil in the R15

Again a Great Big Thank You to Tangy/Roger for a well organised Zone 1 day at such short notice.Allthough i do think That Shoreditch High Street was a pretty miserable place to meet up though (Oxford Circus much better) but it was your choice.

Interesting to see so many faces and surprised to see so many not there because of work reasons.
