Well it depends on how many people know what I do and where I go past on the tube every day.
I'm not fooling anyone, am I?

Well I'm sure quite a few here would know what you do if they've read the Tubeguru's new job' thread.

To be fair it was quite easy without my intervention. It will be interesting to see the incorrect answers.

Same. I was there properly a few months ago and passed next to it on the weekend. Would be interesting to see the answers and people's responses.

uefacup, I dont think half-points are catered for in this scoring system which we took so long to come up with!
Please decide whether they get 1 or 0 points. I would point out that in past Photo Quizzes, people have not been given marks for changing their answers (ie the first answer has had to be taken).
I suggest that whatever you decide here becomes a precedent for all future quizzes in round 2, for fairness and consistency.

OK - cheers for that Jonny.
In that case I'm afraid it's going to have to be nil points for starkey7 and steeevooo just so as to be fair to the others who took part.

How did three people incorrectly make four wrong guesses?

Two people changed their wrong answers

Why should I lose points for changing my mind? Surely the thing that counts is the last answer I give before the answer is revealed (as in Who Wants To Be A Millionaire), regardless of how many times I change my mind. How would this be "unfair to the others who took part"? I've had no more extra information than they have...
Please reconsider this as I genuinely think that this would be the most consistent and fair way of proceeding.

To be honest, Starkey I'm only really following precedent and also applying the rule exactly how I'd expect it to be applied to me. There have been instances in the past where I've made a very quick gut-instinct answer then after having looked at the picture, I've realised I was quite wrong. I considered changing my answer but didn't. As well as that, this thread as proof, there is also the opportunity for there to be outside influence in changing one's answer.
The reasons a week is given are:
a) Give everyone who wants to take part a chance to take part
b) Give people time to consider their answers so that they don't have to rush
I'm sorry but I've been asked by Jonny to come down on one side or another on this matter and this is how I've decided it - sorry!

The precedent was set in the previous game though - Photo Quiz 1. This is an entirely different game, and as such can be played to a different set of rules. Obviously I can't speak for Starkey, but if you look at the difference in times of the messages sent, the difference certainly isn't too long - hardly a response to all other comments made, as I'm pretty certain that my 2nd entry was made before the "hints" were given on here anyway. I personally cannot see the problem with having a stipulation that if you change your answer you are only entitled to half a mark, I would accept that.
The possibility of changing your answer was raised in this quiz, and not one person objected to it as far as I remember, yet now that we have changed our answers and got our second guesses correct, there is suddenly a complain, I wonder if there would have been the same objection had our second guesses been wrong?

I think changing answers should be allowed. Give 'em points.
If someone posts a wrong answer early, and then, further on in the quiz, some fool inadvertently posts a massive hint that someone else, who hasn't been on the forum since the quiz was started, and perhaps wouldn't have known the answer otherwise, then sees, and deduces the correct answer from it, then the first person here has suffered an unfair disadvantage and should not be penalised for changing the answer in light of developments in the quiz. Similarly, they should not be penalised for changing their answer in light of developments in their own mind.

In the last round of quizzes (when the station was Acton Town) a person guessed Barons Court, which was the previous quiz's answer. The user realised this (in a matter of minutes) and asked if he could change his answer. I allowed this, and I believe he did guess Acton correctly.
However I'm not sure if the situation is the same - I only allowed the change as he'd realised so quickly afterwards, whereas if someone had PMed me to change their answer after reflection I probably wouldn't have done so.
