Was Nelson hunting at Isabel Trail today, along with Paul Sinton-Hewitt. The second time I have run "with" him, the previous time being nearly five years ago.

Hard luck Andi, you will get there eventually, you are just too quick!!!
I was at Tamar Trails, we did a reverse course for Halloween, which everyone said is harder. Made no difference to me as I was just walking.
It was rather bizarre though as I was doing the Parkwalker role, but the Tail Walker decided to go in front of us. In fact he finished over 4 minutes ahead of us. It wouldn't have been so bad but he was lifting course markers as he went by and we had no idea where we were going!!!
The run director told us we should have started in the middle of the field, but I think the parkwalker is supposed start in front of the Tail Walker, which is what we did!

a fibonacci number for me i dont really do these number challenges but when i have only 2 left and a possible 610 at edinburgh on new years day it has to be done!
wendover woods a beautiful but cramped start parkrun with 2.5km of downhill running and then 2.5km gradual inclimb i was running really good had to walk the steepest part but saved some energy for the gradual climb and passed 3 people whom didnt save the energy!. really happy with sprint finish although its obscured a bit with a time under 23m on the 3rd highest elevation only bryn bach and whinlatter higher!.

Am I a grumpy so and so who is out of touch with social niceties if I am annoyed with RDs who not only start the briefing late, but then seem to make it go on as long as possible (including a poetry recital) while it is raining? I'm getting wet and just want to get on with it!

Some RD's do seem to like the sound of their own voices a little too much.

Here are the latest parkrun stats
Congrats to Dudey on his fastest time of the year (19:54), and Steeevoo for his fastest since parkrun resumed (25:17)
My time was my slowest ever, just 6 seconds short of the hour. It was a shame as I really wanted to walk Mount Edgcumbe at pace, but as I was tailwalking had to stick with the slowest walker. It's the 3rd consecutive week that I've had a stopwatch bingo of 54.

Lordship Recreation Ground might only be five weeks old but already has seen 6 Tubechallengers visit.
This week it was visited by A2, Going Underground, Matthewcook18, Nozzacook & Tractakid.
It was Matthew's first parkrun in 364 days and Tractakid was celebrating his 200th venue.
Tractakid managed to snatch Gold by 1 second from ***** who had visited Lordship in week two.
