I wasn't planning on going hell for leather anyway.

Even if I can't do the challenge, I'll still be there for the start/finish etc.

I know - that's the thing.

I don't want to have to retire before the start!

Looks like I'll be in the walking section then :-)

And thanks to my injury, I have just come up with a great "team" name for myself!

You could always team up with Hakan...

I think it's safer to say that a team which walks rather than runs is guaranteed not to come last, just to rub it in for the teams that you do beat.

Well obviously Hakan can only benefit from having a world record holder on his team ... *ahem* :-)

I wouldn't want him to slow me down though ...

*runs*

I was only running in theory.

I am the Wayne Rooney of the Zone 1 Challenge 2006. I'm off to the oxygen tent ...

Cant be that hard to smell a rat. There is half a million of them on the tube. Anyway guru hope your foot  gets better. At least try to get to the z1 challenge. Whats the point of having an annual challenge if a record holder isnt there. I would come but personal circumstances prevent it.

Haha :D.

And, much like Wayne Rooney, if you're not there someone else will win :P.

Perhaps you can do the challenge with Michael Owen then?

By the way can you remind me of the time I need to be at meeting point?
1215hrs seems to ring a bell ?

Try to be there BEFORE 12pm.

Get there FOR 12pm, not AT 12pm.

The email, the email!

It's 1200! A second later than 1215 and we'll be gone. Disappeared. Vamooshed. Apparently.

Edit: Damn this synchronised posting.

Changing times

For the purposes of calculating an estimated time, does anybody have any ideas as to how long I should allow for each change? I'd guess 3.5 minutes: 2 minutes for walking between platforms and 1.5 minutes' waiting time. Does that sound reasonable?
