for me its one of many events that organised by the local pub which raised £1500 back in 2009 (£257) of which was my sponsership). if it was not done trying to break a record it would be just a FNC which i have done many times and would not raise the same amount of money.

Hey, I regret to inform you all but I sadly won't be doing the challenge this year. I've got so much coursework on the go at the moment, I just can't spare any time for this. Also due to university and work/family commitments, I haven't been able to train let alone get any sponsorship. Sorry all

Have just seen the forecast for Friday and those in the furry animal suits may have it right...
Max 9 degrees / Min 3 degrees... I think the 118's are gonna be cold....

If i make it round I'll be amazed the head wear is so hot just sitting still. But have been running so will give it a good go. plus more stations i complete the more money I get & several in the pub have pledged to double there money if I complete so real incentive to do it.
