A fairly quite week with only 8 runners and not much to report.
This weeks highlights
Soup Dragon claims a PB with his highest finish, 4th Place at Lancing Beach in 20:46
Tractakid ran a SB at Ellenbrook Fields, in a time of 23:40
***** becomes our second runner at Father Collins (IRE), but his time of 25:15 was not enough to beat Tractakid (24:20)
No new courses added this week.
The only medals changing hands this week are at Ellenbrook Fields
Tractakid claims Silver with his run, this means Going Underground slips down to Bronze and Iain is out of the medals.

Just realised that I missed one important stat from this weekends results.
***** achieved his 250th Parkrun at Father Collins.
He becomes the 3rd forum member to achieve this milestone.

As I am heading up to Dundee this weekend as part of All The Buses - National Express Xplorer (why do I say yes to these things?!?!), I shall hopefully be attempting Camperdown Parkrun on Saturday!

Managed to get to Camperdown parkrun (although a little early forgetting to check that it was a 9:30am start!). 1 lap in a figure-of-8 mainly along woodland trails and paths with some decent elevation change and a long hill that feels like it keeps getting steeper at the back of the course. Would definitely recommend as it's a beautiful course and easy to get to from Dundee by bus. Really happy with my time of 25:15 given the nature of the course and still recovering from a training 5k run on Thursday.

Lovely trip down to East Brighton parkrun with Andi who injured himself early on leading to him walking the rest and my lapping him for possibly the first time. It's a very twisty course with slightly different starts to each lap and then the rest the same. Plus a warning in the race briefing that if the medical helicopter needs to land on the football pitch then the parkrun will be abandoned!! Fortunately it didn't happen.

Ah the one in Bala, my parents only live an hour or so away from it and I'm back there for Easter weekend. Very tempted by it...

What happened Andi? Did they scan your barcode? I'm assuming that you are the UNKNOWN runner shown in 123rd position?

I didn't bother to scan my barcode as it was in my bag one of their volunteers said what's ur number and position. They didn't add it in email said he spoke to all volunteers nobody admitted fault or even talking to me pretty shoddy explanation defo not recommend this Parkrun to anyone else. Im taking it as a free run not in results
