I might also see if my broken body can get round a Parkrun again soon...
Updated for you Sam, now get out there and run so I can add some new data for you! My body was also broken, but I'm now getting back close to PB territory :-)
Right now, I can barely walk, let alone run due to really bad pain in my thigh.
Fingers crossed I’ll be able to do something soon anyway! My body is proper broken and just getting worse but hey ho!

Echo that Sam - down to just parkrun once a week now, no midweek training due to Achilles, knee, sciatica, calf and a tadge overweight
Just plodding around as best I can and swallowing co-codamol like sweets for the last few months :(

Shock horror I actually repeated one but then I was meaning to go back to this one. Pb easily and the lady was doing 10km at Hove prom so went down to cheer her on.

A very busy day with 14 of us out running this morning, it would have been 15 but I was running a stall at our local Comicon.

This Weeks Highlights
Andi set a CB at Brighton & Hove of 20:36 and in the process snatched Gold, by just 2 seconds, from Soup Dragon.
Dudey celebrated his 100th run with a respectable 23:46 at Whitstable.
*****'s first run at Banstead Woods sees him take Silver in course wars, in a time of 27:49. Scrxisi is demoted to Bronze and Going Underground is now out of the medals.
Steeevooo ran a SB time of 35:29 at Barking
Going Underground, powered by co-codamol, ran at the inaugural Jersey Farm Parkrun, setting the benchmark at 36:33
and finally.....
Das ran a CB and SB of 37:50 at Lymington Woodside, his first run in 18 months to score over 40% age graded.

Well done everyone, here are the full stats...https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... sp=sharing

Today's trip was to Stevenage, which was surprisingly quick and cheap to get to. A lovely two lapper, with a lake and some nice woodlands. The finish had a killer hill, but otherwise a delightful course I'd very much recommend.

Echo that stevenage is a great course not flat but undulating and an uphill finish does make my time very good if I can regularly get in in the 20 min range I'm happy indeed. Back to touristing mega after my accidental repeat last week.

I will do a summary when I have a bit more time, but quite a few changes this week to report!

sorry that I didn't get to do the summary last week,
In summary my summary would have roughly said...
A lot of medals changed hands and Going Underground lost his only gold to Crypto.
MarcG ran for the first time in 56 weeks.
Das set a SB time at Wormwood Scrubs and missed out on a Age Graded record by 0.02

Can't keep my eyes open tonight after a busy day with the guys who came to test the Escape Run.
I will do the league tables tomorrow :-)

Before Mr soup dragon gets this week up I had my 150th Parkrun at pontypridd I became only the 2nd person to achieve the full ponty, pirate, staying alive, compass, alphabet and bushy pilgrimage only Mr freyne has accomplished this but he already had them before the badges were in existence.

Bedford for me - a lovely course with an excellent cafe. I'm not going to make a habit of travelling that far, but I caught up with an old running friend so really worth it :D
