I have scheduled some routes that hit Ken O in the evening but my main concern is that if anything goes wrong then I may not get to it as planned and that's the challenge scuppered. The first route I'm going to try now goes for the 06:32 train.
er i believe i can get myles to walk between barons court 06.06 and ken o 06.24 if he cant then i kick him up the backside!

and another thing if you that worried about it why not start on 05.50 train from ken o then you wont have that problem.
And if you cant get between barons court 06.06 26 mins to kensington olympia then either tube challenging is not the thing for you i even put money on moley doing that!.

Ah beg pardon, never occurred to me. Plus I forgot to turn off the overground option on Journey Planner so the first underground train didn't come up anyway.
He should be able to do that, I walked it in 11 minutes without a great deal of effort a couple of weeks ago.

i often find that i even have to turn off bus train tube options sometimes it still wont let me walk between mhe and finchley central sometimes hopefull traveller if you want some help planning do ask i got to admit the last time i did that walk was some 3 years from barons court i prefer the walk from west ken as pub nearby.just thinking if myles doesnt get his lucky u1 bus and i know he wont make 14.30 might be just enough time to stop for a mid challenge pint at ickenham whats the name of the one of the opposite side of west ruislip station havent done that one yet.

Does anyone know why JP is only showing trains departing from Ken Oly and not arriving

Sorry, no - I'm starting to distrust JP.
When I was there the other night the tube platform had a banner up at the end. Can't remember the precise wording and my phone had just died or I'd have taken a photo but it suggested to me that District line trains didn't run from there, which isn't correct according to the leaflet Geoff linked to.

Actually I have just dowloaded the leaflet and it shows times for 5 trains departing Ken O in the morning but none arriving.... How can that be as I assume they must arrive at Ken O
somehow or is just that they are not taking passengers

I reckon they must just go without passengers, someone with more knowledge of sidings and depots might be able to give a more thorough explanation!

I assume that's the case that they're not taking passengers.
Which really stupid! All trains to Olympia must go through Earl's Court, at least? I assume the trains are "Not in service".

What I've heard is that these trains actually come from the West (be it from sidings or a depot), thus bypassing Earl's Court and therefore entering passenger service at Olympia.

There are only two trains per day that arrive at Olympia, the 1915 and 1945 from Earls Court. The JP seems to be showing these correctly.

They come out of Lille Bridge deport which is situated under Earls Court 2. There is are two entrance/exit roads. One goes up to Olympia, the other goes to West Brompton eastbound platform.

I think you mean West Kensington, not West Brompton.
