Luckily enough all of us Superheroes have broad shoulders and can take insults on the chin.
My shoulders looked great when I looked at myself in the mirror.
I'm assuming your costume has the extra padding??

All this talk about difficult costumes makes me glad I chose the cheap option of a t-shirt/hoodie I had already!

Are they rented or bought outright, the costumes you're having trouble with? If it's the latter, you've got a month to make any modifications :)

I think most of us have bought our costumes, it works out just as cheap as hiring and then you can use them again.
One day I shall return!

The bus featured is Capital Citybus (now First Capital) Dennis Arrow fleet no. 415 (P415 MTW) and it became a bit of a "pet" bus to me when it was working on routes around east London. It was based variously at First's Hackney or Northumberland Park depots.

Despite being on London routes it never did lose it's bright yellow livery thus it stood out from the increasing sea of red. 415 also became the last of it's class to finally leave London for pastures new in early 2004 up to Leeds where it remains to this day as fleet no. 31915.

The Dennis Arrow itself is quite a rare vehicle as it was Dennis' attempt to update thier Dominator model to rival the Olympian, however it wasn't a real success as only 86 examples were built with over 3/4 of these going to First Capital.

I was going to guess at a Dominator or an NV Olympian. Take your not actually driving, just sitting in the cab?

Yes, I was only sitting in the cab, the engine was turned off. Didn't have a licence to drive a car back then (still don't to this day) let alone a double decker!!

I can understand you thinking it was a NV Olly as the body style on this batch of Arrows is the very same Palatine II body as used on the "route 74" NVs that were at London General's Putney depot.

Here is a full photo of 415 to show you the full body styling:
http://www.tangytango.fotopic.net/p722049.html

First Capital also bought a second batch (R reg) with the alternative ELC Pyoneer body which were regular performers on routes 259 and 476 into King's Cross
