Hands up who thinks Neil is sad for actually wanting to do this on his lonesome
The thing I really enjoyed about last year's challenge was having the opportunity to get to know new people... even Fimb

It's probably just a cry for help in reality

I shan't mock Neil for wanting to do this on his own - as I've done about 5 Zone One Challenges on my own, and an ALC as well.

Well, then it's probably a good thing that it's in Zone 2..!

Well now I look a complete fool - why do I always think that it's *inside* the circle?? Perhaps it *is* in Zone 1 in London Below, and I know I've been there once or twice on those strange, late night journeys you have sometimes... spooky

You know, those nights when the lights are all flickery, everything looks indistinct and you get off at your stop, the realisation dawning on you as the train leaves the station that you were the *only* person on the train....

Fear not juggler, the smile will be on the other side of my face when my Zone 1 challenge team arrives at the pub in time for "last orders"

The pub's not open the day after the challenge ....

Don't worry, it opens again on Monday - I'm sure you'll nearly be finished by then!
Hurrah, only a week to go now.

If you can't find one excuse, combine lots!
His dead Grandfather ate his dog whilst on a family holiday and became very ill.

A genuine absence note I have seen this year
Dear Mr XXX
I am sorry XXXXX was off but the family came down with a touch of bird flu, we have now recovered.
