A day or so late with the update this week - I was away for the weekend.

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... sp=sharing

Andi becomes the first forum member to become an "Alphabeteer" (completing a parkrun at a course beginning with every letter of the alphabet). I don't know how many people worldwide have achieved this, but there can't be too many.

Also, Al does it again and gets a PB, which makes it a PB on every run he's done so far. I think he's the forum member with the longest run of PBs from their first run onwards (if that makes sense). I can't be bothered to check if anyone else has ever had a run of five PBs in a row at any point to be honest ...

That's impressive. Where can we start a parkrun that begins with X?

I should say that I don't believe there ARE any parkruns starting with X, even in China and Mexico where places beginning with X are most prevalent.

So actually, he has done the maximum that is currently possible - 25 letters. I await tractakid searching somewhere and finding an X parkrun for Andi to do ...

I went for a run the other day, and I'm not in (the bad kind of) pain. So I finally printed off some barcodes.

Will I be adding you to the list soon then?

No. Cross Flatts counts as a C. There is. No. X!

Agreed. No X. Though I would point out that Andi was at Exeter Riverside the previous week. I think he knew.

It only took 2 years, but I've finally got round to a first attempt. Banbury's not a particularly easy course, with mixed terrain and lots of tight twisty sections. The island was particularly muddy after yesterday's rainfall, so a lot of slowing down there.

Now I have a target!

Sadly, couldn't run today and it is cancelled next week due to a horse event thing. Hopefully back there on the 18th.

The pressure's on for you to get that 6th PB then ...

Ride round the course on a horse, you'll be certain to break your PB.

OK, the table is updated. Quite a few runners this week, with a PB for jamesthegill, and a near-PB for Geoff.

Crypto is awarded a PB by default, of course, as it's his first run.

I don't think there are many places I haven't lived where people have done a parkrun now - Rickmansworth is my latest ex-abode to have one.
