It would be a spoiler because I can't interpret it into English.

If it's not in English, it's a spoiler. Simple as that.

I wonder when we're going to reach the stage where this game goes for hours and hours between claims ...

Has anyone ever claimed for a negative number of weed?

I might get shot at for this as in theory, I'm exposing a loophole..but here it goes.

After reading GKR's post in the game thread, he claimed 100 weed. He also stated that he should lose -100 points. However, such theory and stuff could actually gain him points.

Lets take a look:

GKR posted -100 weed. In a normal game with normal rules, this would be classed as a spoiler/invalid claim as its a negative value.

But.....if you were to apply mathematical law to this, then this is technically what would happen...

GKR's claim of -100 weed. As mentioned, invalid claims have the number of points stated deducted from the player's score. So it should look like this. Using the score from the latest score sheet (Week 14), for this example, lets say his score is 10930. Therefore, in a normal situation:

10930 - 100 = 9930

HOWEVER...applying mathematical law to this, this now becomes

10930 - (-100) = 11930

as

10930 - (-100)

becomes

10930 + 100 (since - and - together make a +)

therefore

if you were to apply that law and concept to the game, GKR's claim of -110 weed using the formula

10930 - (-100) = 10930 + 100 = 11930

therefore in theory, it is a valid claim. But I'm not TG so I'm not going to be so picky about this :P

Well spotted, but I'm quite sure that the decision will be to subtract, rather than add points for making a claim like that, otherwise the whole point of the game will be ruined as everyone will just claim negative googolplex points every time they can.

Garion got there in a very drawn-out way, but yes. Although a negative claim will always be invalid under the rules, if I have to subtract a negative number, your score would increase. Obviously, I'm not going to do that, but I'm surprised that mullardo hadn't noticed this one yet. :)

Drawn out, yes, but I just wanted to make the example clear :P
