hmm. Don't think I'll realistically be allowed to do the challenge, but never mind. I might come down and perhaps join onto someone's team if they dont mind until just after the evening peak when i can get a cheaper train home!

No problems if you can get to Hounslow West by 1300hrs I am sure you will be able to team up with someone for at least a few hours :D

I've now got FOUR options for the day...:

1) Re-run of the Z1 - GOT to improve on that time of mine!

2) Game On exhibition at the Science Museum

3) Number crunching bender including Wembley, Clapham Junction and London Bridge

4) This meet

I really am struggling! I know for a fact I cannot make the starting station in time, nor can I do the full challenge, as I am already tied up with another meet in the Kings Cross area sometime after 1600. I'd be tempted to cancel that if it weren't for the departure from Kings Cross being at 2100 (needing to be there by around 2030) to go to Newcastle. I am already booked to arrive into London around 1310 too at Paddington.

I want to come down and do some of this, as it would be nice to be able to say hello to everyone again. However, my head is spinning trying to deal with a solution!

I'll let you know what I am doing as soon as I can GU.

Hey guys

Unfortunately, the way it is shaping up, I think I won't be able to meet you all on the 16th. Oh well, there's always the possibility of a Z1 day during exam leave or something...

Supposed to get it here tonight too...BS is my answer to that...Bad snow is when you wake up and find its mounted up higher than you are...

And I HAVE seen this happen, quite a few years ago...Got photographic proof.

London won't get it anywhere near as bad as they say...Mind, if a small flake lands on the Met Office it's declared to be a disaster...

I left Worthing this morning at 6am and it was +3 and raining.
As soon as I got over the downs it was snowing and everywhere up until Heathrow has had at least 1 or 2 inches. Hopefully next Friday there will not be any snow, otherwise the projected 8 hours for this challenge will look very doubtful. Whatever happens I'm looking forward to a good challenge. :)

Eight hours? I'm nearer six and a half... I'm starting to worry about my mathematical abilities now.

I think that I need to look at my route again if you can do a 6 hr 30 min John? By the time we get to Earls Ct. McDonalds you will have had enough time to sample the entire menu!

I have four routes for the day and none of them are that quick the fastest is about 7h 40 min but having seen starkeys running he may have a good connection at the top of the network which is making his time quicker.
