Could I gently point out that this thread is moving on to the organisation of a tube challenge, and not people expressing their interest in being interviewed?

Sorry Neil. But this is "Off Topic Chat" after all! Also, most of what's been said here has been said on the actual Mouse thread anyway.

However I take your point.

Oh, there is going to be someone from Moldova? Splendid; I could, perhaps, get some comments from them in Russian!

Thank you all for being so enthusiastic and helpful; I truly look forward to meet you all this Saturday!

I personally think the mouse challenge isn’t the best tube challenge to report on a zone 1 challenge would be much better.
Perhaps waiting for someone to do another challenge would be a better idea. :?:

Sadly my Moldovan colleague isn't into tube challenging, although he does live in London if you want a why is somebody from Moldova teaching music in England interview then that could be arranged!

The mouse is not best one I agree, but maybe Margo can at least get an idea what Tube Challenging is all about and then possibly report on a Z1 later in the month...or even the full network attempt for Children in Need on 16th - 17th Nov.....

I wasn’t saying that Margo couldn’t come I was just stating that the mouse isn’t the best challenge to report on.

That's ok I understood your earlier message and wasn't suggesting that you thought that.....and agree with your comments about the mouse not being the best.... :)

Right, as promised, I'm posting the link to the broadcast!

You can listen to it here: http://news.bbc.co.uk/hi/russian/progra ... 689898.stm

What you need to do is to click on the sign with a small blue arrow in the top right corner of the webpage. It will open the Real Audio player (or you can try straight from here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/mediaselector/chec ... bgc=003399)

The bit about the Tube Challenge starts on about 19th min. I know it's all in Russian, but you can actually hear some of the quotes from the Challengers I interviewed!

Once again, I would like to thank everybody who helped me put this report together. It was amazing meeting you guys, and thank so so much for being so great about it!

I think it made interesting listening, sadly my russian is pretty awful.

I will try and get my Moldovan work colleague to listen to it and get some kind of translation.
