Dang, all these engineering works are annoying. Still, at least the Waterloo disruption will be over. Hopefully.

As this may be quite a long challenge, maybe it would be better to move the start to 1200 or even 1130, which would still give time for people to parkrun / Spoons beforehand?
The maximum length of the challenge itself won't be longer than the maximum length of any other 'twist' rounds i.e. 6 hours. What will be different is that the nearest anyone can finish is Zone 2, and the furthest is Zone 4, so people will have longer to travel to get to the pub afterwards!
It may well be that we have more people who fail to finish in 6 hours than is usual, though.
Tangy - can you refresh my memory? If someone visits 15 but they are deemed to have visited a station incorrectly (i.e. used the wrong platforms, or went to the wrong station), are they disqualified (i.e counted as having visited no stations), or are they counted as having visited 14? If it's a disqualification, this is the sort of round where it could throw up the situation where someone who has visited 14 stations correctly and one incorrectly finishes behind someone who has visited 13.

Along with Peter, I'd certainly appreciate an earlier start, if possible.

1130 would really be pushing it for us parkrunners but 1200-1215 should be OK?

How would other challengers feel if I changed the start time to 12:00 noon?

Surely not! Although if he even just came to watch he'd be very welcome.

As a parkrunner, I think a 12:00 start would be fine.

Oops - got a bit carried away there, should only have put my name down for the event itself!
Given that my ankle is still a little dicey (though I managed a two mile run on it yesterday, with the first mile and a quarter back to pre-injury timings), and that a Zone 2-4 challenge is bound to throw up a lot of running, I will definitely NOT be at Parkrun!

I'd booked an Open House tour of the London Library (near Piccadilly Circus) for 1100 - it's meant to last 45 minutes. A 1200 start would kind of be pushing it though - not so much if I was alone but since two of my friends expressed interest in it independent of each other, I'd like it if we could go for 1215.
Of course, if this is inconvenient for people I'll just leave my tour early. After all, I do kind of deserve it having lumped you all with this twist...

Or we could leave an envelope for you to pick up, though you would still need to start your watch at 12:00....

I really don't like the idea of messing with what has been a solidly consistent start time. Someone's bound to turn up having not heard...
