I would be very interested if the 8th July is chosen, less so in August.

Any station you like between 1100-1200 and can always text the result through if you have to dash off....

Happy to drop the idea of returning to the starting network (not station), and Spoons Victoria sounds like a good choice.

The three legs should be done consecutively (but in any order), so any Bottle stations visited during the DLR stage would need to be revisited. Otherwise timing individual challenges gets very complicated!

Thanks for that Richard, just wanted clarification :)

So I guess we are just awaiting date confirmation then we are "good to go"......

I'll leave the date open until Saturday to give more people chance to comment but so far we have two votes in favour of 8th July and everybody else seems to have no preferences with regard to the date, so unless anyone registers any objections between now and Saturday, the 8th is most likely.

Following on from that point, is the idea to do the challenge as consecutive individual challenges joined up or just to visit all stations within those challenges?
You can of course complete your Bottle at Bank and commence the DLR from there or vice versa if you wish - indeed it was the connection at Bank which inspired the challenge in the first place!

I guess the nice thing about the DLR and Tram is there are not many run-around changes!

Will pencil 8th July in pending confirmation....

Sorry for a late comment on the meet up pub, but would we not be better at The Montagu Pike near TCR so it is not the other side of London from the DLR?

Is that a Spoons?

To me, the finishing stations are likely to be either on DLR (Beckton, Lewisham) or Tram (Wimbledon, New Addington, Beckenham Junction).

With these South London finishes (and with the best way back from Beckton being Jubilee from Canning Town), I'd like to propose the Prince William Henry darts pub? Near to Southwark tube (so good from Waterloo/London Bridge) and also not far from Blackfriars Thameslink (for those coming from East Croydon/Herne Hill)...

What's the food like there?

If there's going to be darts afterwards, I think it makes sense to make the darts and meetup pubs the same place, or at least not too far distant from each other.

I hadn't thought about darts so will stick a set in then and am happy for Hugo's pub choice :D
