I'm fairly sure any routes involving a Circle/H&C/Met sequence are better done with the sequence at the start, because you can control the sequence. Add to that it's a long sloping downhill to the Waterloo and City Line at the Bank end I'm pretty sure those routes are better done that way round.

The route you have provided (finishing at either Leicester Square or Green Park; as both are approximately equal times away from Piccadilly Circus it's a case of arrive at Piccadilly platforms and take first train) is my preferred route - as you can see I have attempted the All Lines three times before and have ended up with pretty similar final times.

Thanks for all the guidance. I have an excuse to go to London next weekend, so I'll give it a go.

The thing is that I've probably done all the relevant changes at some time or other, but not been paying attention. :D

Oh, about your blog, your Mouse Challenge route-finding procedure is not the best idea! I put together a route for the Bottle that involved me passing through every station except Baker Street precisely once; this led me to what I believe is the third worst time on the table!
