I suspect that 39 hours the main factor would be fatigue not falling asleep.

Yeah, fatigue will be a big issue, but with 2 of us I hope we can share the task enough so we can both stay alert/awake
Have booked the day off work, will try and work a better route out over the next month as I'm pretty sure the time I've got can be comfortably improved on.

Looking at BBC it looks like we might have to put the attempt back while they sort out all this strike stuff.

Obviously because of the delay in Night Tube we weren't able to attempt it, so we're just waiting on a new opening date, which could be a while yet

Good luck: if you are waiting for night tube you may be waiting for some time!

I'm very interested in this challenge, but shouldn't these train lines count as well.
Heathrow Terminal 5 People Mover
Ruislip Lido Railway
Hampton and Kempton Waterworks Railway
Ickenham Minature Railway
Epping Ongar Railway
and the Inclinators at Greenford Station and Millennium Bridge.
What have people agreed on when it comes to St Pancras? Do the Midland Mainline, Southeastern High Speed and Eurostar platforms count as one station, or do they all have to be done separately.
Fatigue would definitely be an issue with this challenge!

When considering what needs to be done for the challenge I basically decided on the networks under TFL's direct jurisdiction that are classed as "Rail", i.e. underground, overground, trams, dlr, TFL rail. The EAL is included simply because it appears on the tube map
