I've had seven entries so far. I reckon we could have a few more.

What happens if we pick a programme that is currently scheduled to be shown on BBC1 on 1 Nov, and it is cancelled due to some major breaking news story?

I'm going with what is planned to be broadcast. Just like if on a tube challenge for whatever reason a train unexpectedly runs fast through a station, it still counts.

I'll enter, just not now as I had a few drinks.

I've had 3 people that haven't yet entered be interested, so I will at least wait for those three to have entered.

Despite the deadline being flexible, anyone wishing to enter would be advised that it may become harder and harder to answer Q after today, due to program schedules for the current day probably disappearing from online sources!

I'm not sure exactly how far the BBC's online schedules go back, but here's one from six years ago:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/bbcone/programmes/ ... 2007/11/01

In fact the BBC has digitized the entire Radio Times programme listings archive going back to 1923, well before the start of television - see here. It's currently only available to BBC staff, but they plan to make it available to the general public soon. (This site has a selection of listings going back to the start of TV in 1936, but it's far from complete, and no longer being updated.)

I just calculated all 15 scores. I just erased the results accidentally. I'm not doing them again right now, it's time for bed. You'll have to wait til later today.

Some fascinating answers to look forward to, though.
