I'm been at the Olympic Stadium this evening and have only just picked up this claim to the DLR record. To put the record straight, I've also commented on the news piece and tweeted Sam with a link to Tangy's list of top times.

Geez, even I've done the DLR in 2h 30m 46s.

Why didn't I tell you this before? Because I thought it was a rubbish time and was planning to go back and beat it.

Right - I've now sent e-mails to the news desks of the two offending publications, asking them to publish a correction.
