Well, better than it dishonestly stopping working. You might think it was working, but then it loses five minutes every 24 hours just to spite you, and before you know it you're missing trains and being late for important business meetings. Then you get fired from your job and your partner leaves you for having such poor control over your life. You can't keep up the mortgage payments and you quickly become homeless. Then you resort to begging on the street between Aldgate and Aldgate East while you watch Tube Challengers running between the station. You daydream about when you used to be one of them, when you used to be able to afford a train ticket, and then you get hit by a car because you're not paying attention to the traffic. You die a sad and lonely death, with nothing for company but your watch, which seems to have started working properly again in the accident.Going Underground wrote:I got so hot my digital watch over heated and honestly stopped working for 4 days

Yes.tubeguru wrote:Do you have to start a new topic for each one?
If you get a rubbish connection like this early on, you can always stop your watch, go back to St Pauls and try again rather than keeping going.hopeful traveller wrote: But the talking stopped at St. Paul's. I started there. A crap connection at Bank meant I waited for 6 minutes. 8:29, and only 2 stations gone.
Well, what will you do with these threads then?tubeguru wrote:Can they not all go in one thread entitled "HT's All Lines attempts"?
Problem was that I started late and things would only get worse if I restarted.greatkingrat wrote:If you get a rubbish connection like this early on, you can always stop your watch, go back to St Pauls and try again rather than keeping going.hopeful traveller wrote: But the talking stopped at St. Paul's.
