If I could make a suggestion for a round, it would be to have one where instead of being required to know things (or be able to look them up with a search engine), one has to work things out. A bit like question 9 in the previous round. There could be codes, sequences, cryptic clues, connections, odd ones out, that sort of thing. I'd take part in that :)

There are some pedantic sods on this forum (me one!). Stations with one platform is a point that has cropped up before and argued at length.

I'd have thought that the most obvious meaning is one where an island platform corresponds to two "platforms".

We are very sorry for the delay to this service. This is due to an idiot forgetting to bring there questions with them when going for a meal out!
