May?! I thought you meant, for example, next week!

Well, actually, I meant this Friday.

But for numerous reasons, it needs to be a private attempts. Partly because of the person I'm doing it with, and partly because I'm going straight to Cardiff once it's over..

If I have time on Friday, which I almost certainly won't I'll also do an attempt. I may or may not see you along the way...

So you'll be getting married on Friday. It needs to be private because she has no parental consent and therefore has to lie about her age. And then you're spending your honeymoon in Cardiff.

"...and if anyone can see any just cause why they may not be lawfully joined together, may he speak or forever hold his peace."

"This is a customer announcement; will the groom please keep his baggage with him at all times? Thank you."

Really hate to quote myself, but I will argue that alternative 1 was first mentioned by myself:

How about these:

* Gather at OC at noon(eg) - again. Draw a finishing(!) station from a hat (again - Jack?).

* Make your way to the start point of choice.

* Clock starts at 1pm(eg) for everyone. Catch any train leaving (closing its doors) after that exact time.

And we'll SEE WHO WINS!

Problem is, only the winner will see who wins. Nobody else will have turned up..

Although I do feel there's nothing wrong with the 2005 format..

There is nothing wrong with the 2005 format! It was great fun and should be done again.
