It's really hard to play a solid Z1C strategy when a novice keeps playing irrationally (seemingly random, albeit quite cleverly so)...
Countering both South Wimbledon and Ladbroke Grove is really hard - but I think a superconnected move like this will do for now:
King's Cross St. Pancras !!

I wasn't expecting Ladbrodke Grove. I'd have had my mortgage on Ealing Broadway.
Well, at the risk of invoking knip ... Gloucester Road

Tubeguru, you're right! It must have been years since I saw Ladbroke Grove played this early in a game. Interesting though!

Sorry – I thought we were playing to NF Stovold’s Third edition rules (the ones using the pre-1972 map). If we are then that looks like a Reverse Badgering.
If we are using the Second edition then Gloucester Road looks a bit cheeky, and I'll go for...
...Adwych

I like a good Badgering every now and then.

Blake Hall? That was banned in the fifties after the triple murder that took place when the subsequent player played M...n C...t! Anyway I'm not falling into that trap. I simply go for:
Aldgate East

Oh come off it - was it heck!
It was South Acton. I shall write to Mrs Trellis.
However, to preserve the flow of the game I'll go with Aldgate East and say:
Ruislip Gardens
