My starting destination was Farringdon. After helping a lost tourist, I took a Hammersmith & City Line train to Barbican, whereupon I changed for a Metropolitan Line, waiting for 4 minutes.
If you've ever been on the Waterloo & City Line, then it feels like it is in Paris - it is so far away from the rest of the station. There was a train on the platform, but it remained there for a few minutes - meaning I had spent 6 minutes at Bank. At Waterloo, there was, again, a long walk to the Jubilee Line, where I got for 1 stop to Westminster - and took the stairs (so I beat the crowd!
Crowds at Victoria were not as bad as I have seen in the past, but it was still pretty bad. We all crowded onto the train to Green Park. Then a ticket inspector showed up, meaning I had to waste time fumbling around with my Oyster and not get to the door I wanted (I had got on 1 door too early), wasting valuable seconds. Still, there was quite a quick run to the Piccadilly Line, where I got onto the platform with 1 min to a train. To the Bakerloo Line to Oxford Circus, then I took the first central Line train that came. Unfortunately, it was rush hour by then.
