I like the sound of a big group it gives us a bigger chance of publicity and raising more money.

I'll just say that I'm like Edgemaster - I'd love to come but I've no idea where I'll be then, so certainly can't commit now. If I qualify for having the route that is fab as I would certainly like to have a look, if not, totally understood.

If anybody wishes to attend me and sara will be attending Horse & Groom Saturday August 8th i think a meeting of proposals for this date can be discussed then wiv a few drinks :) .Here are a few i thought of obviously with some planning to achieve them.

1. A full network with an different start not done before a route has been done but needs input.
2. A recreation of the book Tunnel Vision with obvious differences.
3. A recreation of the Top gear challenge if somebody has a speed boat or knows some1 (this can be done with just 3 car/cycle and tube/dlr).
4. With obvious backing a tv challenge full network or something smaller challenge.

ps until i am certain all parties involved r happy wiv route and the timings it shall remain secret for now just ike my new running route researched on saturday.

If you move the starting point a few miles East to Putney, you could potentially use the river boat services: Putney to Blackfriars; Blackfriars to Woolwich Arsenal; run to Woolwich Ferry pier; cross the Thames on the free ferry; and run the kilometre or so to London City Airport.

It would take longer than a speedboat, certainly. It is probably the slowest way to get there - then again, it is probably the most pleasurable! One for the runners I think.
