Had a good run pushing a trolley around Sainsbury's. Back next weekend, so I might go and try out Tamar Trails.

Table's all done. Lots of runners this week, and a few course-bests.

Cheers guys, I decided to take a few Saturdays off this month to have a real crack at the sub 20.
The last two weekends I was lucky as the weather was near perfect for running. Last week 20:11 gave me good hope for a quick time this week.
What has really helped is training with Worthing Harriers, they do interval training every Tuesday, usually 10 x 600m with a 90 second breather in-between.
I doubt I will have another Parkrun this year so will have to keep training and wait for the next opportunity. My target next year will be 19:38 of Crunchy Saviour. :D

It's a Course I'll go back to and give it a proper go I reckon I can get a time of 23/24 mins on that course.

Well, they are finally starting a Parkrun near where I live, so I am planning to do my first Parkrun at the Inaugural Cannock Chase event on Saturday 19th November. The time will be shocking as I am unfit even by my standards, but I am looking forward to it.

Any tips for a newbie?

don't get pissed on a Friday night I didn't know you came from that way al I must see if some parkruns are in that area as its almost perfect for my regular trips up Wakefield way.

The others 'near' me are all over 30 minutes away, hence not dipping my toe into the world of Parkrun so far.

The alcohol advice would have been followed regardless!
